Anonymous asked, “How old are you Mrs. Priestly?”

Anonymous asked, “You know, you really look like Meryl Streep…”

Anonymous asked, “Were there any happy moments in your childhood at all?”

Sitting on my grandmother’s lap and eating rhubarb tarts.
Sewing my first dress with my mother.
Watching my father paint.
My first school dance.  Eliza Middleton wore a very lovely dress and petticoat.
My mother singing around the house again after my father had passed.
My first kiss. With Beatrice Stuart.
The day I found out I would be studying in Paris.
I find it odd people are under the impression my childhood was so incredibley horrible.  Certainly, there were some hardships I do not typically disscuss; however, despite my old age, I still possess very fond recollections.

Anonymous asked, “Have you and Andy ever had sex in a public place?”

Anonymous asked, “Do you have a favourite season? Regarding designer collections as well as the weather.”

As much as I adore satisfying the press, the title of “Ice Queen” bears some accuracy to my seasonal preferences. In terms of fashion, it allows for designers to integrate layers, and I find it significantly changes the game when an artist needs to do more than just send a skimpy bikini or one dress down the runway. While I do enjoy a nice, solitary gown, layers require more cohesion. Individually beautiful works should somehow transform into something completely and radically new when combined. The color palette of the season is quite acceptable.
I suppose in my older age, I admire the calm cleanliness of fresh snow and white skies; nature possesses this regal appearance in winter. Some would claim it certainly matches my cold personality despite my usual sunny countenance and warm hospitality…though they simply must be mistaken.  Winter is just the most favorable of the seasons.  After all, Patricia loves eating the snow, and Patricia is never wrong.
